About Daniel

Daniel Rottenberg first began ticklin’ the ivories in 1995. Known for his energetic ragtime and stride arrangements, Daniel has played in establishments such as Volstead’s Emporium in Uptown Minneapolis, the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, CO, and the Diamond Belle Saloon in Durango, CO’s Strater Hotel over the last 18 years. Daniel has performed at the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival in Sedalia, MO, the Durango Ragtime Festival, the Evergreen Jazz Festival, the Summit Jazz Festival, the Cedar Basin Jazz Festival, and the Old-Time Piano World Championships. He now plays piano in Minneapolis, MN at Nucky’s Speakeasy, Shakopee House, among others. Click to learn more about Daniel.
